Sound of Repentance
A man haunted by his own choices, trapped between regret and a fractured reality, has to face the echoes of his past before they consume him.
Synopsis
Jack, a man consumed by guilt and regret, spends his days reflecting on his estranged relationship with his son. Through an intense monologue, he works through the weight of his past and hopes for reconciliation.
A quiet psychological drama about guilt, responsibility and the cost of silence. The film was born from a question rather than an answer: what happens when remorse is felt, but forgiveness is uncertain? Atmosphere, sound and visual tension carry the story, and its moral questions are left open.
Written, directed, produced and shot by Mirjan Gjergjevica for Mirjan Films. The film had its first official screening on YouTube on 25 December 2025.
